About me

I provide a safe and confidential space for you to explore your feelings, thoughts and beliefs at your own pace, in an atmosphere of warmth and compassion. I will hear you without judgement, and help you to make sense of what is troubling you so that you can come to terms with events and learn to value yourself more deeply.

I am experienced at working with children, adolescents and adults, in schools and in the charity sector, as well as in my own practice. I have worked with a range of problems such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, loss, anger management and relationship issues. Before qualifying as a counsellor I worked for many years in education and understand the pressures and strains that school and college life imposes on young people and their families.

I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor, having gained a post-graduate diploma (Level 7) in counselling and psychotherapy from the University of South Wales. I am qualified to work with children and young people, as well as adults, and have gained a CPCAB Level 5 certificate in counselling children and young people.
